Let’s take a trip back to March 2020. The start of March looked promising, as Casey and Yogesh met up for their first date at Horsefeather in San Francisco. All went well, they laughed, they talked about [insert normal first date items here].

Two days later, the COVID shutdown began.

We were forced into a world of unknown, and had to get creative.

We started to think of how to continue dating, which included “21st century dating”: a lot of video calls, computer virtual game nights and lots of “18th century dating”: morning walks in the park and outdoor picnics at abandoned golf courses, the recommended 5’ apart.

We went on our first trip together to Denali National Park in August 2020, and have since traveled to over 10 National Parks together. Our love of travel has brought us on many adventures, and can’t wait for the new adventures upcoming, including our wedding trips to Minnesota and Delhi.

On January 12, 2025, Yogesh planned a beautiful engagement after a day of doing one of our favorite activities: sailing around San Francisco Bay. And of course, Casey said yes ❤️

For our wedding activities, we will be privately exchanging vows in April in Santa Barbara, hosting an Engagement-like Party in late June in Minnesota, and then we take off to India to celebrate our finale event in early November. We hope you can join us as we celebrate our joining together!
